OM: Isaac Lihadji about to sign at LOSC!

Second in Ligue 1 after 28 days, Olympique de Marseille had a great 2019-2020 season until the end of competitions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. But during this exercise, all is not rosy on the side of the Marseille club. Behind the scenes, club leaders in the south of France struggled with the Isaac Lihadji case. Author of good things during the last summer preparation, the French winger had been launched in the deep end by André Villas-Boas on September 24 against Dijon, in Ligue 1. But after two appearances, nothing. The reason ? Negotiations for his first contract dragged on too much.

“Our firm offer is withdrawn. If he shows an interest in staying, we can make him another offer. I don’t want to put too much pressure on a 17 year old boy. His past is linked to OM, he will continue, perhaps, in another club. But we cannot be hostage to the situation. It is true that it is his future that is at stake, he has the freedom to decide. I don’t know if it can change or not, it will depend on him and his entourage ”, then released the Portuguese technician in a press conference on this subject, before the president of the club Jacques-Henri Eyraud also put him a little pressure.

LOSC to welcome Lihadji

Last December, we revealed that the Lihadji clan had received a firm offer from the LOSC, with a salary of 45,000 euros and a nice signing bonus of more than a million euros. But at that time, the doors were almost all open, with also the interest of other teams like the Borussia Dortmund. But finally, after several months of reflection, the main concerned, very prominent during the last U17 World Cup with the Blueberries, and his entourage seem to have finally made a decision.

In all likelihood and as revealed to us by a source close to the player, the case is almost heard and the player must normally engage with Lille by June 30 for three seasons … The beautiful Lille proposal has therefore was favored compared to other large European teams who wanted to recover the player. As for OM, it should recover a few hundred thousand euros in training allowances. Little consolation.
