You will now appear in Jan Žižek.
“It is true. (laughs) There I play a murderer who gets killed right at the beginning. And I think the camera was behind me when I ran with the spear to pierce the wagon on the stagecoach. So maybe I can only see from behind. AND Michael Caine then they shoot me with a crossbow. Then I lay there for half a day and played corpse. I enjoyed that too.”
How did they find you?
“I know the director Peter Jákle. I really like medieval and historical films. I like horses, knights, battles… And I once told him that one day he would film something, so I would like to play some bush. And about two years later, he called me to come to the casting, that they would try me out and choose something.”

How did you react?
“I told him that I didn’t want to talk anywhere. And that I can easily be masked so that it cannot be seen that it is me. And it almost turned out that way. They made a scar on my face, gave me armor, so I’m unrecognizable at first glance. But originally I was supposed to play a different role.’
Which one?
“They do. But she was there for three days of filming, and unfortunately for me it coincided with StarDance at that time. I didn’t have that much time. So they chose a killer for me, who was only there for one shooting day. At the casting they said to me: Look, take something in your hand and act like you are fencing – me, fencers! – and that you’re killing someone. Now pretend you’re dying. So I fell, and they said: You see, you’ll be fine!”
But it’s not your last role, is it?
“I’m planning something else. I recently made an agreement with a young director who will shoot the student film Bandit, and he gave me the role of Přemysl Otakar II.”
King!
“Yes. (laughs) But then again, I wanted him to not have to say anything there. They put me on a horse, I ride into battle, and they kill me there. And that’s where the movie starts.” For a change. “Well, it went well for me. It’s the second time I’ll be at the beginning and I’ll get killed right there.” (laughs)
