The Bennet Family and Mr. darcy

• Elizabeth Bennet: Emma Corrin, 29, known for their role in The Crown, will take on the iconic role of Elizabeth Bennet. [[1]] [[2]]

once in a generation a group of people get to retell this wonderful story and I feel very lucky that I get to be a part of it. A Legacy of Adaptations

Pride and Prejudice has seen numerous adaptations over the years, reflecting its enduring appeal.The 2005 film directed by Joe Wright, starring Keira Knightley, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this autumn. The cultural impact of previous adaptations is meaningful; in 2024, the shirt worn by Colin Firth in the 1995 BBC adaptation, after his iconic lake swim, was sold for £20,000 at a charity auction.

Other notable adaptations include the comedy-horror film Pride And Prejudice And zombies, based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s book and starring Lily James and Matt Smith.
