Old hotel in northern Virginia demolished – Telemundo New York (47)

An old Holiday Inn hotel in Arlington, Virginia, was demolished by implosion this Sunday morning for the construction of a new project on that site.

The new complex that will replace the Rosslyn Holiday Inn was approved by the Arlington County Board last year and will include a residential tower, a new hotel and conference center.

Several streets in the town of Rosslyn will be closed for the rest of the morning following the implosion of the building, located at 1900 Fort Myer Drive. The implosion was carried out by Controlled Demolition INC.
