Oil price falls further on unrest in China: ‘This hurts Putin even more than falling gas revenues’

Crude oil prices fell to their lowest level since December last year. “Earlier this month there were still fears of a rise in prices after the agreement to cut production. But in the meantime, it looks like the oil price will continue to fall,” says economist Koen Schoors (UGent).
