The “Olimp” / “Venta 2002” team beat “Liepāja” with the result 2: 1 (1: 0, 0: 0, 0: 1, 0: 1), whose loss made them move away from the first place in the table.

After 15 minutes, Kārlis Ozoliņš was nominated by Ralfa Grinberga and Mārtiņa Giptera. However, Emīls Ezītis achieved an extension after 52 minutes by Georgija Pujaca and Gata Sprukta.

At the end of the third minute of overtime, Yeliseev threw the winning puck to the goal guarded by Maris Jučers.

Jučers repelled 22 opponents’ throws, but in the away goal Rūdolfs Gusts Lazdiņš coped with 27 Liepaja throws.

It was Lazdiņš who was recognized as the most valuable player in the guest team, while Klāvs Plānics earned such an honor for “Liepāja”.

The Daugavpils “Dinaburgas” and “Zemgale” / LLU teams are currently in self-isolation, but the Latgalians could return to the square on Saturday.

Leading the tournament table with 17 points in ten matches is “Olimp” / “Venta 2002”, followed by “Liepāja” with 15 points in 11 due events. The leading trio with 12 points in nine matches is closed by “Mogo” / LSPA, followed by “Zemgale” / LLU with ten points in six dues.
