This is the press release from the Juventus club: “Juventus Football Club SpA announces that it has consensually terminated the sports performance contract with the player Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain. This operation generates a negative economic effect on the 2019/2020 financial year, equal to € 18.3 million , with the effect of the devaluation of the player’s residual value.

The Juventus Board of Directors has been called for tomorrow, September 18, to examine and approve the new draft financial statements at June 30, 2020 – to be submitted to the Shareholders’ Meeting already called for October 15 – to take into account the negative economic effect generated by the aforementioned contractual result.
