Andreas Samaris was made official this Friday as a reinforcement of Fortuna Sittard. The Greek international was a free player after terminating his contract with Benfica.
In a statement on the official website, the emblem of the Netherlands informs that the 32-year-old midfielder has signed a link valid until the end of the current season.
“I’m really looking forward to this new adventure. I’ve been in the Netherlands for a few days now and I really like it. After a wonderful period in Portugal, I’m looking forward to this adventure and will do everything in my power to be important to the team», said Samaris, quoted in the club’s note.
At Fortuna, Samaris will be a teammate of the Portuguese Ivo Pinto and Lisandro Semedo.
