In Carry-le-Rouet, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, a vaccination center is ready to welcome tourists who would like to receive their dose of vaccine at their vacation spot.

A vacationer from Yvelines received her second dose of the Moderna vaccine against Covid-19 in Carry-le-Rouet, in Bouches-du-Rhône, at her vacation spot, Saturday July 3. “If it allows more people to be vaccinated, I am in favor, and in addition in these centers, there are fewer people, it is fluid”, she explains. 200 injections are given here every day, especially on passing tourists.
The vaccination center team will be reinforced in the event of an increase in demand, according to Agnès Gatto, its manager. “There are a lot of nurses and doctors who are ready to come”, she assures. The seaside resort should welcome many tourists this summer; usually its population of 6,000 doubles this season. Faced with the threat of the Delta variant, convincing holidaymakers to get vaccinated will be part of the fight against the return of Covid-19.
