Chairman of the MUI for Da’wah and Ukhuwah, who is also Rais Syria PBNU, KH Cholil Nafis said Muslims would certainly forgive related to the promotion of liquor for ‘Muhammad’ Holywings. This was conveyed by Cholil Nafis to one of the shareholders of Holywings Hotman Paris who came to see him to apologize.
“Personally I forgive because everyone makes mistakes, and as a person who makes mistakes is the one who corrects, repents and also apologizes, of course Muslims will forgive because we are good people,” said Cholil Nafis when receiving Hotman Paris at his residence, as in the video uploaded to the Hotman Paris Instagram account, Sunday (26/6/2022).
Nevertheless, Cholil Nafis is pushing for the ongoing legal process in the police force at this time. Cholil Nafis hopes the mistakes made by the staff Holywings this can be a lesson.
“With regard to law enforcement, we agree that this brother will continue to be processed for learning, this brother’s staff is too creative, his sensitivity is lost that this is a religious field, maybe his intentions are good or wallah bissawab,” he said.
Cholil Nafis hopes that the legal process related to the liquor promotion will run smoothly. He wanted the case to be fair.

Hotman Paris Meets Cholil Nafis
Hotman Paris has apologized regarding the liquor promo for ‘Muhammad’. Hotman conveyed directly to Cholil Nafis.
“Hello, I am Hotman Paris as one of the shareholders in Holywings who came to visit Mr. Kiai Cholil Nafis’ house as the Chair of the MUI and also Rais Syuriah from PBNU for the mistakes made by Holywings staff which caused uproar in the community and on social media and caused offence among Muslims. ,” Hotman said in a video upload on his Instagram account, Sunday (26/6).
Sincerely apologize for the mistake made by Holywings staff. He hoped the apology would be accepted by Muslims.
“On behalf of myself and also on behalf of Holywings as an institution, I apologize to Mr Kiai Cholis Nafis and also Muslims. Hopefully our apology will be granted and we submit that this problem is really resolved through a legal process to be followed up by legal provisions happened,” he said.
A total of 6 people became suspects in this case. The investigation is still ongoing and the police are gathering evidence.
“There are six people who are suspects, all of whom are people who work for HW (Holywings),” said South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto.

Holywings Indonesia apologized again regarding the promotion of free alcohol drinks for customers named Muhammad and Maria. Holywings asks for prayers and support from the community so that the promotion which has resulted in a legal case can be resolved immediately.
