Born on March 2, 1949, in Welland, Ontario, to Carmen and Mary Alice Albano, Peter received his high school education at Notre Dame College School in Welland. He pursued higher education at Oswego State University, earning a hockey scholarship that would prove pivotal in his life. Friends and family are invited to pay thier respects at the Ferris Funeral Home, located at 214 norfolk St. S., Simcoe, on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday,August 21st,at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 17 Lynn Park Ave., port Dover, with Father Charles Akinloye officiating. Interment will follow at Port Dover Cemetery.
