NEW YORK – Police are searching for three men who attacked a 37-year-old woman after an argument on a Bronx street, leaving her with a broken jaw, authorities say.
It’s unclear what sparked the argument at the northwest corner of Lydig Avenue and White Plains Road around 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18.
Officers who responded to a 911 call about the assault say the woman told them she was arguing with a stranger and it turned physical.
That person and another pushed her to the ground, she says, at which point the three suspects lunged at her, kicking her in the face and body before running off.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and later released.
