NEW YORK (AP) – All New York City employers will have to require COVID-19 vaccination for their workers under new rules announced Monday by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
The vaccines mandate for private companies takes effect on December 22 and aims to prevent an increase in coronavirus infections during the holiday season and colder months, the Democratic mayor said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program.
