**Nusk Card: Streamlining Umrah Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia**

RIYADH – ⁣Saudi⁢ Arabia’s ⁤Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has implemented revised regulations for the Nusk Card, ‌a mandatory requirement ⁢for both domestic and international pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah as of December 7, 2023. The updated ‌rules, announced this week, aim to streamline⁣ access to Hajj and‌ Umrah ⁤services and enhance the overall⁣ pilgrim experience.

The Nusk Card serves as an official identification and access pass,‌ granting pilgrims entry to holy sites, transportation, and lodging. These changes come as Saudi ‍arabia ‌prepares to welcome‍ an anticipated increase in⁤ pilgrims following ⁢the easing of pandemic-related ‍restrictions. The Ministry emphasizes the card’s role in organizing Hajj and Umrah journeys, ensuring safety, and providing a range of services tailored to pilgrim needs. Failure to possess a valid Nusk Card will ⁣result in denial ⁣of access to Hajj and Umrah facilities.

According to⁢ the Ministry, the Nusk Card is ⁢now required for all pilgrims, regardless of their nationality or point‍ of origin. International pilgrims must obtain the card through authorized service providers‍ in their respective countries. Domestic pilgrims can acquire it through the Ministry’s ‌website or designated centers within⁣ Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry detailed⁤ that the card’s features include a unique QR code linked to the ⁤pilgrim’s personal information and ⁢Hajj/Umrah⁤ itinerary. This allows authorities to track pilgrim movements, provide assistance when needed, and ensure ‍compliance wiht safety regulations. The Nusk Card also facilitates access to a dedicated helpline and digital services offering guidance and support throughout the pilgrimage.

Pilgrims are advised to register for‌ the ‍Nusk ‌Card ⁢well in advance of their travel dates to avoid delays. The Ministry‍ has published detailed guidelines and FAQs on its website (https://nusk.sa/) outlining the request process, eligibility criteria, ⁢and card usage. The Ministry stated it will continue ‍to update ⁢the ⁣nusk ⁢Card system with⁢ new features and improvements ‌to further enhance the pilgrim experience.
