Nuno Borges Advances to Second Qualifying Round at Miami Masters 1000 (Tennis)

One day after conquering the ‘challenger’ of Phoenix, which allowed him to rise to 68th place in the ATP ranking (best position ever), the Portuguese tennis player Nuno Borges, national number one, qualified for the second qualifying round of the Miami Masters 1000, also in the United States, after beating the American Steve Johnson (152nd) by partials of 6-4 and 6-4.

In the second and last round of the ‘qualifying’ he will face the winner of the game between the North American Brandon Holt (193rd) and the Croatian Borna Gojo (113th).
