The number of visitors to Pathé and Euroscoop cinemas has halved since they reopened on 1 June. Pathé reports this to NU.nl on Monday when asked.
Due to the corona measures, the Pathé and Euroscoop cinemas can currently only use a third of the maximum capacity. The cinema operator says it has received two million visitors in the 247 theaters since 1 June.
The operator behind the thirty Pathé and Euroscoop cinemas makes no statements about the level of the loss of turnover since the cinemas closed again due to the corona crisis open were allowed.
The market leader in the cinema sector does report that the company with eighteen hundred employees has made use of the temporary Emergency Bridging for Employment (NOW) measure due to the loss of turnover.
