“Now knowledge depreciates at the rate of change”

Before Covid our economy was moving towards a knowledge economy, and now it is moving towards a learning economy. Why? Because the rapid changes that we are experiencing cause knowledge to depreciate at a high rate. Marco Serrato, Associate Chancellor of the University of Chicago, will talk about this and other topics related to the challenges of organizational learning at FiAD, the first Ibero-American forum for innovation in learning and development that will take place between June 1 and 3.

In this podcast we talk with Serrato, among other aspects, about how companies can deal with them, calling for a major mistake that involves cutting training budgets as is usually done in times of crisis. The adequacy of competencies is now an imperative for the sustainability of the business and, furthermore, as the expert indicates, it is also the main example of the social responsibility of organizations.
