From 200 to 400 PLN per month more in the pockets of Poles who installed photovoltaics in 2021. The average cost of the installation incurred by investors was PLN 29,000. zlotys. It is also true that the investment pays off for years, because many people say that it started to be in the black in the first year of using the installation.
70% of investors feel the savings resulting from the use of photovoltaics in the first year of operation of the panels – according to the report of Oferteo.pl. One-time installation start-up costs amount to an average of PLN 29 thousand. zloty. Three quarters of the respondents are supported with subsidies and concessions offered by the state.

The second edition of the Oferteo.pl study on the use of photovoltaics in Poland shows that the average cost of installation incurred by investors was PLN 29 thousand. zlotys. This amount is within the range indicated by the contractors surveyed by the portal at the beginning of this year (PLN 32–39 thousand), with the indication that it should also include funds from the subsidy.
The increase in costs incurred by investors was most often influenced by: limited space, shading, unfavorable direction of the roof, its slope and the type of roofing.
It turns out that the entire process of installing panels, although not without difficulties, brings savings relatively quickly. Among those surveyed by Oferteo.pl, as many as 70% admitted that they have already noticed the first profits resulting from the production of ecological energy.
In the case of nearly half of them (47%) it was up to PLN 200 per month, 44% saved between PLN 200 and 400, and 9% of the money is even more.

Photovoltaics with state support
On July 1 this year, it started in Poland call for proposals for co-financing of photovoltaics under the second edition of the government program “My Electricity”. This is one of the methods aimed at encouraging Poles to invest in renewable energy sources.

Despite this, more and more Poles decide to make such an investment, hoping that it will not only pay off within a few years, but will also protect them against unpredictable increases in energy prices in the future – comments Karol Grygiel from the management board of Oferteo.pl. – In order to respond to the growing interest of investors and translate them into an increase in the share of solar energy in the Polish energy mix, the government is introducing further relief and subsidy programs aimed at relieving homeowners and encouraging investments in renewable energy.

Poles benefit from subsidies
Despite significant commissioning costs, for 74% of investors, a photovoltaic installation is a step towards savings. No reason was indicated by the respondents more often.
A considerable relief for Poles’ portfolios is additionally launched by the state programs, which investors are very eager to use. Over the last year, as many as 74% of them took advantage of any of the available forms of subsidies, while 77% of respondents deducted the purchase of panels from the tax. However, it seems that those who installed the panels in the last year faced more formal difficulties with subsidies than those who did it the year before. The percentage of people who indicated obtaining funding as one of the greatest difficulties in the entire investment process increased by 5% (from 15% to 20%).
