According to the California Avocado Commission, avocados can help your body absorb the nutrients and other foods you eat. So if we talk about cholesterol, this avocado is a good fruit to help lower your cholesterol levels.

One of the benefits of avocado is that it can help lower cholesterol. The content contained in avocado is known to help lower bad cholesterol in the body and increase good cholesterol. Not only that, avocados also contain vitamins, minerals, fiber, phytosterols (components that can inhibit cholesterol absorption), and antioxidants. These ingredients work together to prevent cancer and heart problems in the human body.

According to a study from the Journal of the American Heart Association, eating avocado for lunch is believed to lead to a longer feeling of fullness. So that it can help people who have excess weight to lose weight. This study involved 45 healthy people (women and men) with an age range of 21-70 years, and they were on a low-cholesterol diet for 5 weeks. This study was intended to determine whether consuming avocados can affect cholesterol in the body.
