Who would have thought, heating packaged food in the microwave could actually increase the risk of diabetes. This is based on a study which found that the chemicals found in the manufacture of food containers or plastic wrap can increase insulin resistance to blood pressure.

The research also shows that chemicals found on food packaging in particular can increase the risk of diabetes in children and adolescents.

2. Skip Breakfast

Breakfast is one activity that is often missed by many people. In fact, breakfast is very important and has a series of benefits for the health of the body. Skipping breakfast not only makes the body less energetic but can also trigger a number of diseases, such as type 2 diabetes.

Emptying the stomach in the morning can cause insulin levels to be disturbed. This condition also makes it more difficult for the body to control blood sugar which eventually triggers diabetes.

3. Lazy Sunbathing

Protecting yourself from sun exposure is important, but this doesn’t mean that you completely avoid it. In fact, sunlight contains vitamin D which is needed by the body. Vitamin D deficiency causes a person to be more susceptible to diabetes.

Studies show that vitamins from sunlight play a role in the proper functioning of the pancreas which produces insulin and helps regulate blood sugar. Related to this, try to keep meeting the needs of vitamin D in your body, one of which is through sunbathing. Make sure you do it before 10 am, OK?
