Most of the country’s residents who died last year died due to diseases associated with the circulatory system.
In Ukraine, from January to October last year, 562,137 people died due to diseases. The main causes of death were heart disease, malignant tumors and coronavirus. Such data made public Gosstat.
So, according to statistics, most of the dead – 346,988 people – died due to diseases associated with the circulatory system. The anti-leader is coronary heart disease, the victims of which were 242,239 residents of the country.
In second place are malignant tumors, or cancer, which claimed the lives of 62,060 Ukrainians in ten months.
The three “leaders” are closed by the coronavirus COVID-19. According to the State Statistics Service, 54,016 people became victims of the infection in the incomplete year 2021.
Recall that in December last year, the Ministry of Health decided to strengthen epidemiological surveillance to prevent outbreaks of polio. In particular, the regions were instructed to study all cases of acute flaccid paralysis in children under 15 identified since June.
