Vaccinations that are expected to solve the Covid-19 pandemic problem are planned to be carried out in early 2021, although there are many versions regarding the timing of this implementation. With the vaccine, everyone will be immune to the SARS-CoV2 virus that causes Covid-19.
But, not just people can be vaccinated. There are several conditions that a person must be equipped to be injected with the vaccine.
Taking the example of the flu shot, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) describes some of the requirements for people to get vaccinated. Here’s the review:
1. The vaccine that is injected will be different, depending on the age. So, everyone gets a vaccine that is appropriate for their age.
2. In the flu vaccine, the vaccine is administered at 6 months of age with the weakened influenza vaccine (IIV).
3. There are several types of vaccines that are only intended for adults, for example the combination influenza vaccine (RIV) that is approved for people aged 18 years and over, and high-dose and adjuvant inactivated vaccines that are approved for people aged 65 years and over.
4. Pregnant women and people with certain chronic health conditions are allowed to get the flu vaccine.
5. Some people with egg allergies are allowed to get the flu vaccine.

Now, on the other hand there are groups of people who are not recommended to get the flu vaccine, they are:
1. Children under 6 months of age. They are considered too young to get the flu vaccine.
2. People with severe allergies who if given the vaccine could be life threatening. Usually people who are allergic to gelatin, antibiotics, or other ingredients.
