Gert Verhulst’s fame started on the then BRT with a talking dog, Samson. At the beginning of the television program, that voice was provided by Danny Verbiest. He could certainly not be missed in the musical about Gert’s life. For once he brings out his best Samsons again.

Free Souffriau was also featured in the musical program. She sang there together with a few Studio 100 figures and Marie Verhulst about Gert’s successful career.
