“We have created a car that takes us a bit further,” said race president Yang Dong-hwan. Hyundai has repeatedly referred to the new generation of the popular SUV as a more luxurious car than its predecessor. This is evidenced by the new platform, distinctive design and equipment inside.
The bow attracts with its triangular LED headlights and a distinctive radiator grille. Significant indentations are removed from the side and the rear lamps are connected. The new edition still belongs to the C segment of the SUV, next to the Peugeot 3008 or the Škoda Karoq, but it has grown.
The length of the tucson measures 4500 mm, is 1865 mm wide, 1650 mm high and the wheelbase is 2680 mm. Compared to its predecessor, it is 20 mm longer, 15 mm wider, 5 mm higher and the wheelbase has increased by 10 mm.
Inside, there is also a new design direction that Hyundai will probably follow in the case of other models as well. There is a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel in front of the driver. Hyundai boasts a wealth of equipment that the customer will be able to pay extra for. For example, there is three-zone air conditioning, ventilated front seats or ambient lighting with 64 shades.

For example, the new car has a system for automatically adjusting the driving speed when cornering the motorway. The Tucson is also the brand’s first car with Multi-Air Mode technology. “The ventilation system uses exhausts with direct and indirect supply of hot or cold air to the interior. The much milder air flow creates a more pleasant environment in the interior, ”said Petr Michník, a spokesman for the Nošovice car manufacturer.
The most available version of the new Hyundai Tucson car on the Czech market will start at CZK 529,990. The first fourth-generation Tucson cars will appear in European stores later this year. At the beginning of next year, the sporty line of N Line equipment will follow.
“The farewell generation of the Tucson model will be indelibly written into the history of the Nošovice car manufacturer. Since the start of series production in June 2015, almost 1.2 million of these cars have rolled off the lines to date. The popular SUV has gained worldwide popularity, ”said Michník, adding that since the introduction of the model in 2004, more than seven million cars have been sold worldwide, of which 1.4 million have been handed over to customers in Europe.
