NOS: technical problems seem to be solved | Inland

The building was hit by the outage at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. For the broadcasts of the NOS Journaal had to be moved to the studio in The Hague on Tuesday morning. Very early in the morning newsreader Mark Visser read the radio bulletin on television because no films could be broadcast. The news also featured images from the studio of the NOS Radio 1 Journaal. That radio broadcast went through despite the interference.

The app, the website and Teletext could not be refreshed for some time on Tuesday morning due to the outage. The NOS Journaal came back from Hilversum from 11 a.m. But after that, the NOS reported that the problems had not yet been completely resolved. But now it appears to be the case. The NOS is still investigating the cause of the malfunction.

On average, half a million people watch the news between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. The morning news at 8 a.m. is best viewed with an average of 350,000 viewers. According to NOS, the app, website and Teletext are seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
