Norwegian Parliament hit by ‘massive’ cyber attack | NOW

The Norwegian parliament was hit by a cyber attack last week. In the attack, email accounts of MPs and employees were hacked.

Parliament president Marianne Andreassen speaks of a “major attack”. According to her, a small number of people have been affected by the hack. It is not known how many and which MPs are involved. They have been informed about this.

Andreassen says that it is also not known who is behind the attack and what data has been stolen. Norway’s National Security Authority (NSM) helped combat the attack.

The NSM is currently working with parliament to analyze the attack and provide technical support.
