Northern Romania: Water Park Construction Bids in Tășnad

Northern Romania: Six Firms Vie for €27.2M Water Park Contract in Satu Mare County

Tășnad, Romania ‌ – The Tășnad city hall in Satu Mare ⁢county,‍ northwestern ‌Romania,‍ has received six bids for the construction of ​a new‌ water park, Aquapark Transilvania Terme Tășnad. The project, valued at ⁢RON 138.2 million (approximately EUR 27.2‌ million), ⁣represents ⁤a important investment in regional‌ tourism and leisure infrastructure, with construction slated to take three years.

The planned water park, covering over two‌ hectares, aims to boost ​tourism in the​ region and provide recreational facilities for both residents and visitors. it will⁣ feature seven indoor⁢ pools ranging in size from 45 to 400 ​sqm, alongside a 267.98 sqm outdoor pool and five jacuzzis‌ on the upper floor. Funding for⁣ the ambitious project will be sourced from a combination of European funds and the city hall’s budget.

The competing bidders are associations led by: Proiect ⁢invest (with Ansthall Accent and 3G Sport – IP); Construcții bihor⁣ (with Igna Construct and drum Construct); Construcții⁤ Erbașu (with⁣ Pald Engineering ⁢and ⁣Euras); MBS Group (with Drumuri ‌Orășenești, ASA Cons România and Blue Ocean); Kesz Construcții România (with Oberhauser ​Invest and⁤ Kesz Epito); and Dimex-2000 company (with Daroconstruct and Hidro Salt B 92).

According to official bidding documents,‌ the ​main building will encompass a basement, ⁣ground floor, and ‍first⁢ floor, totaling 7,246.30 sqm of built area and 16,884.70⁢ sqm of total area (5,886.40⁣ sqm basement, 7,246.30 sqm ⁤ground floor, 3,752 ‍sqm first floor), ⁢alongside 123.70 sqm of additional‌ built area and pedestrian walkways.
