MEDAN, KOMPAS.TV – The North Sumatra Police have returned Rp1.150 billion as evidence of bribery and embezzlement of money in the handling of the drug dealer case at the Medan Police.
The North Sumatran Police Chief Inspector General Panca Putra Simanjuntak explained that during the North Sumatra Police Propam investigation the perpetrators had returned money that was evidence of bribery and embezzlement cases in the handling of drug dealer cases at the Medan Polrestabes.
“So part of the Rp. 300 million has been returned to sister Imayanti, including Rp. 850 million,” said Panca during a press conference at the Medan Police, quoted from Tribunmedan.com, Saturday (22/1/2022).

As for the details of the Rp1,150 billion, Rp.300 million was pocketed by the former Head of the Narcotics Unit (Kasat) Medan Polrestabes Kompol Oloan Siahaan, Head of the Narcotics Satres AKP Paul Simamora.
On the orders of Kompol Oloan Siahaan, the money was distributed to members, then paid for police release activities, bought a motorbike for a TNI member, and paid Wasrik (general supervision and inspection).
The bribe money obtained from the lawyer’s wife of the drug dealer was a ransom so that Imayanti could be free from drug cases after shabu was found at her house and a record book for selling methamphetamine was found.
Meanwhile, Rp850 million was evidence of embezzlement of money during a search of the Medan Police Narcotics Satres team at Imayanti’s house.

The total money obtained by the Medan Polrestabes Narcotics Satres team from the ceiling of the drug dealer’s house is known to be Rp. 1.5 billion.
