North Korea on the night of Thursday, January 27, launched an unidentified projectile towards the Sea of Japan. About it informed Yonhap agency, citing the South Korean military.
In turn, the publication Kyodo citing sources in Japanese government circles, said that the projectile fired by the DPRK was believed to be a missile. It fell outside the exclusive economic zone of the country.
It is noted that at present the relevant ministries and departments of Japan are collecting and analyzing information related to this launch. It is emphasized that there is currently no data on any damage due to it.
Recall that this is the sixth launch carried out by Pyongyang since the beginning of the year, and the second in two days. Formerly North Korea fired two cruise missiles at sea off its eastern coast.
