Three of the four Norman advisers will hold talks in Kiev

Next week, political advisers to the leaders of Germany and France are expected to visit Ukraine.

Political advisers to the leaders of Germany and France, Jens Pletner and Emmanuel Bonn, will arrive in Ukraine next week. They participate in the Normandy format meetings on Donbass at the advisory level. This was announced on Saturday, January 8, by the head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak on the page in Facebook.

He noted that this week already spoke with Norman advisers on the eve of their visit to Moscow. After that, he discussed the situation around the Ukrainian borders and security aspects with US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Karen Donfried.

“And next week my colleagues from France and Germany, political advisers to the leaders of the countries participating in the Normandy format, will come to Kiev,” Yermak added.

He also said that in recent days he was in the Carpathians, where he combined work with rest.

Let us remind you that on January 6 negotiations of Norman advisers were held in the Russian Federation… The talks between the political advisers of the leaders of Russia, Germany and France lasted more than four hours. Ukraine did not participate in them.

Later it became known that the negotiators reaffirmed their commitment to the Minsk agreements.
