Malappuram: Banner mocking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” outside the CPM office in Perinthalmanna, Malappuram. A banner was hung in the name of the DYFI at the AKG memorial building, which is the office of the local committee of the CPM, Elamkulam, Cherukara.
The black banner reads “Non Porotta … Kummanthi is the best in Perinthalmanna”. On the banner is the name of the DYFI Committee Elamkulam. The banner is tied on the road from Bharat Jodo Yatra Pulamanthol Junction to Poopalam.
At the same time, the Bharat Jodo Yatra and Rahul Gandhi, who entered the Malappuram district, received a great welcome from the congressional workers. Activists showed their support for Padayatra by waving their hands, holding up banners and shouting slogans.
