Nokia has a new cheap smartphone. Due to this, the news will come later

<!—->

Smartphones Nokia G11 a G21, which we recently presented to you in an editorial test, are very close to each other in their entertainment, if only in small ways. Even such that we declared that the cheaper G11 is the better choice of the pair. Even though it is close to the model, HMD Global, the company that produces smartphones with the Nokia logo, managed to include another model among them.

It’s called the G11 Plus, and it includes one important innovation that both users and users will miss. The phone is equipped with the Android 12 operating system as standard, while the cheaper models introduced at the beginning of the year have Android 11. Yes, Nokia promises to update the system for two years for all these models and for those years of regular security updates (one every month), as well as the original types They will get Android 12. Only the new G11 Plus is expected to run on Android 14 in the future, while its siblings will only get Android 13.

The new operating system is quite otherwise the main reason for the existence of the new model, perhaps the developers of HMD Global could extend the life of the presented pieces. And so with the new G11 Plus model we will also see a slightly modified design. A somewhat unexpected change is the addition of a fingerprint from the bonho power-off button on the phone, which we take as a bit of a step in terms of the universality of the phone.

Otherwise, the equipment of the G11 Plus model corresponds to the better of the two previous types, i.e. the G21. The phone has the same 6.5-inch IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate as its predecessors, there is 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of user memory, plus a microSD card slot. The cameras are new since the G21, the main one is eight megapixels, the main rear one has a resolution of 50 megapixels. Next to it, there is a two-megapixel camera for the bokeh effect, this time Nokia omitted the two-megapixel camera for macro, and it is, according to us, the time.

A relatively interesting, affordable smartphone should be sold in selected markets for a price of around 150 and 160 euros, i.e. for around 3,700 and 3,950 crowns. This is somewhere in the middle of the price of the model G11 (3,500 crowns) and G21 (4,500 crowns), which is the reason why the novelty is not comparable to them. Even if the Nokia G11 Plus isn’t a completely useless smartphone, consumers won’t lose much.

Dleitj news of the introduction of the Finnish character and later in the course of the summer year. One pack should arrive soon, and the other towards the end of the year. Speculations suggest that Nokia could use some of the upcoming innovations even in the era of peak-equipped smartphones, where it failed last time with the Nokia 9 PureView model. It was introduced in 2019, and since then there has not been a peak smartphone under the baton of HMD Global.
