No trains from between Darmstadt and Aschaffenburg

Passengers must use rail replacement services on the weekend of December 12th and 13th. Bicycles are not allowed.

DARMSTADT – (red). The RB 75 trains between Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof and Aschaffenburg Hauptbahnhof will be canceled all day on Saturday, December 12th, and on Sunday, December 13th. Deutsche Bahn informs about this in a press release. Instead of the canceled trains between Aschaffenburg and Darmstadt, buses operate as rail replacement services.

According to the railway, the Darmstadt-Kranichstein stop cannot be served by the buses on these two days. The railway also points out that it is not possible to take bicycles on the buses.

Passengers are asked to use tram lines 7 and 8 from or to the Heag stop “Darmstadt Nordbahnhof”. The replacement stops for rail replacement services are not located at all stations in the immediate vicinity of the platform; Passengers are therefore advised to observe the directional signs on the platforms and the information on the www.hlb-online.de website.

The trains, which regularly only commute between Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof and Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof, without a journey to / from Aschaffenburg, run according to plan, however. Alternatively, local trains with a change via Frankfurt / Main Hauptbahnhof run. The tickets will be recognized on these trains, the train will finally announce.
