The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria is already 707,885. 2,968,036 PCRs and 3,799,259 antigen tests were performed (a total of 6,767,295), and the average percentage of positive samples since the beginning of the pandemic is 10.46 percent – unchanged on a daily basis.
The number of active cases is slightly increasing and is now 99,663, which is 180 more than in the previous report. However, there is a decrease in the number of hospitalized persons, as they are 5702, which is 78 less (650 were admitted to hospital, 728 were discharged). The number of patients admitted to intensive care units is 627 – 3 more on a daily basis.
