One Covid-19 patient died last day, but no new cases have been reported, according to information compiled by the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (SPDC).
The deceased was in the age group of 80-85, the person had several chronic diseases. Covid-19 became infected from a family member.
A total of 2234 Covid-19 tests were performed last day. So far, a total of 228,758 examinations have been performed in Latvia, 1,323 persons have become ill and 1,093 have recovered and 33 have died.
According to the National Health Service, there are no inpatients with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. A total of five patients are treated in hospitals – all with moderate disease. A total of 198 patients were discharged from the hospital.
