No mining monitor is required for mining with the GeForce RTX 3060, just an HDMI plug

There is misinformation in the discussions about the beta driver, which Nvidia did not mistakenly equip with the “full-fledged” Ethereum cryptocurrency mining limiter. The most common of these concerns the claim that with this driver it is possible to benefit at full performance only on the primary graphics card, while all others are subject to restrictions. Which, of course, is not the case. All graphics cards connected with at least a PCIe × 8 interface to which a display device is connected can be used indefinitely.

This can be considered restrictive; however, the restriction is only apparent. As one of the users of the quasarzone discussion forum has tried and verified, all you have to do is buy the so-called HDMI Dummy Plug (blanking plug that reports as a display device) and can be mined without restrictions on any number of GeForce RTX 3060:

The HDMI Dummy Plug can be purchased on Amazon for $ 5.99 (these cheapest ones were quickly sold out, but the store lists stock in early April). In the Czech Republic, sellers most often offer them under the name HDMI emulator and cost CZK 200 (the cheapest according to zbozi.cz for CZK 179).

The user of the image confirmed the use of blanking plugs and full performance on all cards. Given that the restriction does not actually apply to the primary card (as some discussions and sources claim), but only to cards with a monitor connected and not connected, there is no reason why the solution described should not work.
