NL’ers stuck at Sicily airport despite negative test: ‘The atmosphere is grim’ | Inland

Amsterdam – A group of 36 holidaymakers, mainly Dutch, is stuck at Trapani Airport in Sicily. Three people on board a Dutch aircraft were found to be infected with corona, so that the people around them on the plane are now not allowed to enter the island, despite the fact that they themselves tested negative for the virus. A rapid test has been compulsory since Thursday upon arrival in Sicily – and Sardinia as well.
