As for Will Ospreay, who has said he wants to defend his IWGP World Heavyweight title on American soil, it has not yet been announced on any of the US dates in New Japan.
NJPW Battle in the Valley is thus the second event in the chronology of the American branch of the Japanese promotion, which was confined to short tours when it was launched.
