The protests continue in the last hours by the workers of Nissan, who have seen how this week the announcement that they feared has arrived: the closure of the factory of the Free Zone in Barcelona.
At the moment, the full Barcelona’s town hall has approved an emergency motion endorsed by all municipal groups that shows its “support and solidarity” to workers in Nissan and “requires” the automobile company to be “an active part in the search for alternatives to maintain employment.”
