Nissan’s electrically powered novelty will not go on sale until the second half of 2021. Nevertheless, its first pieces are already in Europe.

Today, the Japanese carmaker Nissan is considered an SUV specialist in Europe and, thanks to the success of the Leaf model, it is also a promoter of electric propulsion. In the prepared novelty, they combine their knowledge in one whole. Ariya is a crossover that is powered by electricity. His first serial pieces have already reached Europe.
It may seem a bit premature, because Ariya will not officially go on sale until the second half of 2021, but the Japanese manufacturer himself has an obvious reason for this. “These specimens will be used as show cars, and some of them will also be used for testing at Nissan centers.” explains Helen Perry, head of electric vehicle marketing at Nissan’s European division.

“We see how beautiful cars are and we can’t wait to reveal more details about them in the coming months,” adds Perry. Even before the start of sales, we can probably look forward to all sorts of details.
Nissan has already published most of the essential information about the car. Ariya first appeared to the world last year in the form of a concept, this summer was followed by the official unveiling of the serial version, which has hardly changed from the concept.

At the premiere, the carmaker then admitted that there will be five variants of drives available. The basis is a 160 kW rear bike with a smaller battery with a capacity of 63 kWh, to which an alternative is a stronger design with a power of 178 kW and a battery capacity of 87 kWh. However, there will also be two ATVs to choose from using two electric motors (one for each axle). The first has 205 kW and the second 225 kW. If that wouldn’t be enough, there will be the top Performance derivative with an output of 290 kW and all-wheel drive.
The size of the crossover is 4,595 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and 1,660 mm high corresponds roughly Volkswagen ID.4 or To the detriment of Enyaq iV.
