The ET7 comes standard with a 70kwH battery, with a maximum endurance of 500 kilometers, and a 160kwH battery version is also available. The latter uses a battery with a density of 360 Wh/kg, which can provide more than 1,000 kilometers of endurance, which is more durable than the Tesla Model S. Wei Lai pointed out that the 0-100km/h of ET7 takes only 3.9 seconds and the maximum output is 480kW, which is quite powerful. The 70kwH and 100kWH versions of the Weilai ET7 will be launched in the first quarter of 2022, and the 150kwH will be available at the end of 2022.

The high speed of ET7 does not stop at driving, but also includes charging. Wei Lai also announced their upgraded battery replacement station at the same scene, allowing the car to be directly replaced with a new fully charged battery without stopping to wait for charging. Weilai stated that they hope to have 500 swap stations by the end of 2021. Each site can handle up to 312 swaps per day and reserve 13 batteries.

As for the part of autonomous driving technology, of course Weilai also has a demonstration. They came up with the latest version of the pilot assist (NOP) function, an upgraded version that was demonstrated at the Beijing International Auto Show last September. By installing 23 sets of sensors and cameras on the car, positioning with an accuracy of 20cm allows the car to notify the driver when it is safe to cut the line, and even the car directly does the job.

At the same time, ET7 will also be equipped with the AQUILA super-sensing system, which combines 11 sets of 8MP high-definition cameras, a set of LiDAR, 5 sets of millimeter wave radars, and 12 sets of ultrasonic sensors. It is said to be able to detect objects and positioning within a range of 500 meters, bringing an accurate autonomous driving system, and will even obtain Level 4 certification in 2022.

Looking back at 2020, NIO delivered 43,728 vehicles throughout the year, an increase of 112% year-on-year, and there were as many as 7,000 vehicles in December alone.
