Nintendo: what to expect from the Japanese manufacturer in 2020?

If exclusives are extremely important for Nintendo, the manufacturer will also need the largest studios in the world to attract players. The Switch will not be outdone at this level since major games like DOOM Eternal, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, The Outer Worlds and many others will be entitled to their version dedicated to the Nintendo Switch. Of course, other announcements will no doubt take place during the year on the occasion of various events such as E3 for example. Now let’s try to think outside the box.

Dream games are long overdue

We might tend to forget about them, but titles extremely desired by the community have been rather discreet in recent months. We obviously think of Bayonetta 3 which was announced at the 2017 Game Awards. There is also a certain Metroid Prime 4 also formalized over two years ago.

Finally, the sequel to the excellent The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will also be on everyone’s lips. It is a safe bet that at least one of these three games will make the news in 2020. Indeed, Nintendo will have to struggle to impose itself on the media space facing the PS5 and the Xbox Series X which will occupy all minds.
