Gold Coast (Australien) – It’s hard to believe: at the tender age of 13, this young student belongs to the past Australia already own business. And with that she earns six-figure sums a year!
–
And as if that weren’t impressive enough: Sophia Rizzos founded the company when she was just nine years old!
At that time she had decided that girls of their age should always have a little glitter potty with them.
And so she began to sell them among her classmates for two Australian dollars (about 1.20 euros) per vessel.

However, she quickly realized that that was not enough for her. She reached out to her parents, Megan, 47, and Adam, 50, to talk to them about a possible business plan.
And while the two of them smiled at the idea of their little daughter at the beginning, they were soon amazed.
Then the nine-year-old came to them with her unicorn notebook full of ideas. “And then we thought it was time to take it seriously,” Megan told the news site Daily Mail Australia.
And lo and behold: almost four years later, the dreams from the children’s notebook have become reality.

Sophia develops the product ideas completely herself
Not only is Sophia now the proud owner of her own office, she also owns a warehouse where her products are sorted, packaged and sold.
From clothes and accessories to make-up to simple bowls filled with millions of glitter particles – their company called “Glitter Girl” has become a real success!
“I love it when the kids come into the warehouse and you see their reaction to all the glitter,” Megan said, beaming.

And how else could it be? Of course, Sophia is in full control! She develops the product ideas, color schemes and names for each new launch.
“I tried to come up with a new color palette once and Sophia told me it wouldn’t work because it wasn’t bright or shiny enough,” her mother laughed.
“I have them on that Website asked, and she was right, nobody bought her. That’s when I realized that the creative side of the business was up to her. “
