Not far from the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, on Wednesday, December 15, a Helidosa light aircraft crashed. Nine people died informs local newspaper Diario Libre.
According to reports, the plane, bound for Orlando, USA, took off from the capital’s Las Americas airport, but tried to land 14 minutes after takeoff. He failed, he crashed.
As indicated, the reason for such maneuvers was technical malfunctions of the aircraft.
It is noted that among the dead there are two minors: four-year-old and 13-year-old boys. Two of the victims of the tragedy were citizens of the Dominican Republic, one from Venezuela and six from Puerto Rico.
The causes of the disaster are being investigated.
