Bandai Namco loves to reveal new things about upcoming games at tournaments, so Katsuhiro Harada’s tease in the days leading up to this weekend’s Tekken World Tour 2022 finals pretty much confirmed that we’d be seeing more of Tekken 8 at the show. The only question was: what were we going to get? Well, the headline gave it to you, but the answer is: a reunion of a beloved character who has been given a new style.
Yes, Nina Williams will obviously be in Tekken 8, and the gameplay trailer below reveals that she’s ditched her wedding dress for a new outfit more suited to fighting… and strapping on two more guns. We are also shown how the new Heat system can be used to gain various benefits, which gives us a nice mix of old and new.
