“The Jean-Bouin stadium, the golden age of Nîmes Olympique” is written by Nîmes Jean-Charles Roux. It will be released in December but we can already order it.
Whoever does not know where he came from cannot know where he is going. In the history of Nîmes Olympique, references to the past are not the primary concern of his boss. They are, however, for many former supporters attached to the glorious history of the club.
They are compiled in a book “The Jean-Bouin stadium, the golden age of Nîmes Olympique” which will be released in December and which will undoubtedly be a very nice Christmas gift idea for those whose hearts are beating. Red and white.
We owe this initiative to Jean-Charles Roux. This aficionado-supporter is a collector and regular visitor of the archives where nothing more football matters escapes him. He has been telling for more than two years now, on the Rue Jean-Bouin Facebook page, through portraits and anecdotes, the history of Nîmes Olympique. He had the good idea to compile them in a book that won over Atelier baie, the Nîmes publishing house.
The 208-page book, very illustrated and prefaced by Michel Mézy, is already on sale by subscription at a price of € 20. It will be released on December 15 and will be sold for € 25.
