The Supreme Audit Office looked at Beata Kempa’s activities from the time when she was the government’s plenipotentiary for humanitarian aid. The list of objections to politicians is not short.
The Supreme Audit Office accuses Kempa, inter alia, of that she did not coordinate her activities with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kempa was not supposed to control its budget and spend money depending on the submissions of NGOs. The auditors also noticed the expenses on business trips.

Beata Kempa was supposed to take part in 16 trips, but she only went on 9 trips. In total, it cost the taxpayer PLN 700,000. zlotys. Moreover, Kempa was not to control the orders. For example, 50 million zlotys spent on “treatment the children of Aleppo“was to be outsourced to a company with which the government did not sign any contract.

At that time, the president of the Supreme Audit Office, Marian Banaś, dismissed Tadeusz Dziuba, vice-president, who was to influence the results of the audit. In the justification of his decision, Banaś wrote that Dziuba “exerted pressure”, “manipulated the results of the inspection” and “tried to intimidate the inspectors”. The case was referred to the prosecutor’s office.

Commentators agreed that the series of dismissals in the Supreme Audit Office was another chapter in the war between Marian Banas and Jarosław Kaczyński, the president of PiS.
