MURCIA. The Governing Council has approved the appointment of Nicolás Gonzálvez Gallego as director of the Institute of Credit and Finance of the Region of Murcia, a public business entity of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Digital Administration.

Nicolás Gonzálvez has a doctorate in Business Sciences and a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Murcia, and a law degree from the San Antonio de Murcia Catholic University (UCAM). Since 2008 he has developed his professional work as a freelance consultant in the areas of management of funds and European projects, as well as public sector consultancy for national entities and countries such as the United Kingdom and Austria, in areas such as gender equality or the new technologies.
He is a professor at the UCAM Faculty of Legal and Business Sciences, and Principal Investigator of the Economics, public management and third sector group at the same institution. In addition, he has published various research papers in specialized publications, participated in research projects and knowledge transfer and collaborates as an analyst in the media.
