Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith Minister of Finance Mentioned this at the National Savings Fund (NSF) role policy meeting in promoting public savings for the year 2023 that the change in the population structure of Thailand has resulted in a population. In particular, long-term savings to be sufficient for spending throughout retirement, especially for workers outside the social security system.

Therefore, to promote savings and to motivate informal workers to save more. The cabinet has raised the ceiling of members’ accumulated savings from 13,200 baht per year to 30,000 baht per year in order for members to send more savings. And increase the government contribution ceiling from 600 – 1,200 baht per year according to the age of the member to 1,800 baht per year for all age groups.
