Testing of the coronavirus in the second phase of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) return plan has revealed 15 new cases of Covid-19, the NHL reports.
A total of 250 hockey players who used the club infrastructure in the second phase were tested, and a total of 1,450 tests were performed. 15 tests were positive.
It has already been reported that previously positive tests were detected in 11 NHL players.
On June 8, the second phase of return began, with the intention to open training halls for small group classes on this date. The start of the third phase is scheduled for July 10, when the units will be able to start training camps.
